Science themed close reading comprehension passages are the perfect way to integrate science into your literacy block. Squeezing in science can be tough, but it doesn’t have to be with these print and digital reading comprehension passages!

These 40+ passages were made with first graders in mind, but could easily work for high kindergarten readers or struggling second grade readers. They include reading, comprehension questions, note-taking, vocabulary, and writing extensions.
