Grammar Warm-Ups!

Here in Texas, ya’ll, we don’t use the Common Core.  We have TEKS as our curriculum.  Then, within each district, most have their own curriculum.  Mine uses CSCOPE.

Last year was my first year in a district that uses CSCOPE.  I felt like I spent half of the year trying to figure out all the forms! (Can I get a shout out about the YAGs, IFDs, etc?!? Craziness!) This summer I was determined to tackle it!

The one area I felt like I didn’t teach well enough in Reading/Writing was grammar.  My teammate said she wanted to incorporate grammar work into our morning work.  I set off to make this little packet of Grammar Warm-Ups! It is aligned with 1st grade CSCOPE for the first six weeks and TEKS.  There is a little warm up for every day.  It starts of easy since the little ones will have difficulty at the beginning of the year.  Plus, we are teaching so many procedures, even our mourning routine, I wanted it to begin easy.

Here is a little preview!  Click the image below to grab a little sneak peak!

You can grab it here at my TpT store!  I hope your little ones can use it!

Happy Teaching,

Amanda
