Get Your Journal On…Math Journals in Kindergarten

Happy Sunday!! I hope you have been enjoying your weekend! Hubs and I have spent most of our weekend at a lamaze class.  SO much information has been shared, but it has been great!

On to more fun things…MATH JOURNALS in kindergarten!

Last year I was MUCH better about journaling with my first grade friends, but this year it has been a struggle with kindergarten.

When Cassie from Adventures in Teaching asked me about participating in a little product swap, I knew what I would be looking for!  I was paired with the lovely Jen over at Jen’s Kinder Kids and she had JUST what I needed. Math Journals!!

These little journals are filled with various skills for the students to work on daily!  There has not been one single skill that we have not already covered. Take a peek inside these 1/2 page math journals!

We use them daily as a warm-up, but here are a few other ideas for implementing math journals in kindergarten.

  2. These math journals look like just the right fit for kindergarten:) I love the format and the graphics are adorable! Great product review. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Journals work so well in kindergarten. Thanks for sharing your ideas! I have a whole series of alphabet journals that my students progress through, and I also have my children practice writing with diaries, another kind of journal. Such a great way to get kinders writing!
