Five for Friday!

I have been eyeing this linky party that Kacey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching has been putting on and I thought it was time to join in the fun!

Here are FIVE random things from my week!

1.  We revised, edited, and published our first All About/ How-To Books! The kids really enjoyed writing them!

2. My last little ones finally finished up their MLK writing.  My teammate has done this torn paper art MLK for years and after seeing how cute and funny they looked, I knew we had to make them this year!

3. I have been using this awesome app called Too Noisy.  The kids LOVE it! When they are too loud, it goes black and makes a sad face.  I walk down the hallway sometimes with it so that they can see how quiet or how loud they are being!

4. We are finally getting a good grasp on expository text as we are writing our own, reading it, and identifying the main idea and details.  We use this poster every day to remind us of the text features.

5. Of course, I saved the best for last! Fill your cart, go through your wish list because Sunday there will be a SUPER SALE on TpT!! My entire store will be 20% off!

Happy Teaching,

Amanda
