Chalk Paint Fun!

I just have to tell you all how FABULOUS chalk paint is!!! Today we had “Mix It Up” day which meant we had a class mixed with K-4th graders.  I had a wonderful class and the whole point was for us to have some fun and meet a new friend or two.  I only had them for about an hour and a half so our time went by quickly!

We got busy with chalk paint! The kids LOVED it!! It was SUPER easy to make, different for the kiddos, and THE BEST to clean up!!

 I used 1/4 cup corn starch, 1/4 cup water, and food coloring.  About 4 drops for the amount I made.  I was a little worried it wouldn’t be enough paint, but it kept them busy for about 30 minutes and there was 16 of them. {There are tons of recipes on Pinterest by many great mommy bloggers!}

 As it dried, it turned to chalk! Super cool!

Clean up was seriously so wonderful!! I just ran water over the brushes and in the cups and it all just poured right out!!

Grab some corn starch, water, and food coloring and HAVE FUN!!
