Books I’m Loving For the Classroom

Books.  One thing every elementary teacher can’t ever have enough of! I can’t tell you how many Friday nights I spent at Half Price Books my first two years of teaching! My husband who was my boyfriend at the time sacrificed lots of evenings to help me hunt for just the right books! HA!
Here is a peek at some books that I am just loving for this time of year!
This penguin fiction book has been in my listening station for the last two weeks.  I just may have it memorized! The kids LOVE it!
This is one of our favorite non-fiction penguin books.  The photographs are just amazing!
We love this whole series and read every one each holiday or season. They are great for retelling and focusing on story elements.
We also really enjoy Diane DeGroat’s books each holiday.  My kids just think they are so funny! Sometimes the character is a little too silly and I change words as I read it aloud, but not often at all!  It’s a favorite!
And one more book that has been a little life saver as I am differentiating my spelling tests is bible lately is this book!
I have linked up with Kindergarten Smorgasboard to share all the books we love!!!
And don’t forget.. you can still pick up our Preschool Rocks Instant downloads bundle on Educents!  It’s only available a few more days so be sure to grab it!  It’s really good for PRESCHOOL OR KINDERGARTEN as it has many hands on activities that are academic and fun!  It’s got rhyming, alphabet, basic math and much more!  You will love, love, love!
